Key Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership: Preach the Word of God, teach sound doctrine, and provide guidance according to Scripture.
Pastoral Care: Counsel, comfort, and support members in times of need, sickness, or crisis.
Shepherding the Flock: Protect the assembly from spiritual deception, encourage holiness, and help members grow in faith.
Vision and Direction: Protect the vision of the church. Protect the Visionary leader.
Community Engagement: Represent the church in the wider community, fostering relationships and outreach initiatives.
Prayer and Intercession: Stand in the gap for your congregation, interceding for spiritual breakthrough, guidance, and protection.
Jean Collins
As Pastor’s Wife, I serve as his spiritual partner, encourager, and example within the life of the church. I share in the vision and calling of my husband, helping nurture the spiritual, emotional, and relational well-being of the congregation. My life and ministry reflect the love, grace, and wisdom of Christ to the flock.
Spiritual Support and Partnership: Stand beside my husband in prayer, encouragement, and unity as he leads the church.
Model of Godly Character: Demonstrate humility, compassion, and integrity as an example to women, families, and young believers.
Ministry Involvement: Use spiritual gifts to serve whether through hospitality, worship, counseling, or outreach.
Encouragement and Care: Offer a listening ear and gentle support to members in need, especially to women and families.
Unity Builder: Foster love and harmony within the congregation, avoiding division or favouritism.
Maintain balance between home and ministry, nurturing your marriage and family as a living testimony of God’s order and peace.
